Most of the talks and workshops are also recorded, so you miss out on the live event - then you can watch it later. The recordings are usually available for two weeks.

Their regular THURSDAY TALKS are £5 and are available for 14 days after.
This site has some wonderful presenters. It appears as though the live events are now available through video for 12 months so can be watched at your leisure.

Mieke Boynton

Based in Bright, Mieke was a secondary school teacher until she fell in love with photography. She is now internationally recognised for her stunning landscapes and aerials.
Mieke now runs Alpine Light Gallery with her husband Matt Palmer. It is well worth a visit if you are in the Bright area.

Mieke has presented to our club on zoom in the past and we highly recommend her. Some of us also worked with Mieke at Yarramundi for a Camerally residential.

Len Metcalf
Len is well known to many in our club as he has been a great supporter and regular presenter since he started Lensschool in 2010. Three of our members were in that first Master Class and several more joined the following year.
Len now offers a broad selection of entry points to photography learning if you are interested. There are workshops, tours and a Composition video series that you can purchase.
There is a regular printed journal that has 3 or 4 editions each year.
If you are interested in regular interaction and feedback, he has an online community that anyone can access with a free signed in membership if you want to participate. It is called Lens Lounge and includes regular challenges and critiques. It is moderated.
Gary P Hayes

Gary is a Blue Mountains local who we have welcomed to our club on a number of occasions. He is well regarded for his wealth of images across the Blue Mtns.
Gary operates out of Mt Victoria and runs workshops and tours all year. Members who have participated in any of Gary’s tours sing his praises.

He has an online newsletter and if you subscribe you can download some of his ebooks for free.
We can assure you that the newsletter is quite useful and is not going to spam your inbox.
He has a range of ebooks for sale. His Landscape Masterclass is a few years old now but it is excellent.

Together they run Creative Photography Workshops
Jackie and Mike are recognised internationally as among the best photographers in their field. Now based in NZ, this couple offer wonderful learning opportunities through their in person workshops and tours as well as through their books. They are also very lovely people and any interaction with them is a joy.
Their CREATIVE LANDSCAPE AND TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY FIELD GUIDES are excellent publications with wonderful practical advice.
Jackie and Mike were presenters at one of the last weekend workshops we ran as a club that attracted over 100 participants.
We can highly recommend them.
